“The Bridgekeeper” (Chestertown, MD)
Nominated for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places, the bridge over the Chester River connecting Chestertown and Kingstown features a wonderfully weathered historic and architecturally unique bridge keeper's building with a bell-cast roof. The original painting was purchased by a local resident during the 2016 Paint the Town Exhibit in Chestertown.

Anticipating Spring was painted for the Winter Blues exhibit hosted by the Chestertown Art League (now Chester River Arts) in January 2011. It was the second of two paintings that were simultaneously created for the artist's first gallery exhibition. The original painting is 11" x 14" and is owned by Kenneth R. Anderson of Clayton, Delaware. The companion painting to Anticipating Spring is Tranquil Dusk and is in the art collection of the artist. Limited edition prints and notecards are now available.
