Tranquil Dusk
Tranquil Dusk was painted for the Winter Blues exhibit hosted by the Chestertown Art League (now Chester River Arts) in January 2011. This painting has special significance to the artist as it was the first of two paintings that were simultaneously created for her first gallery exhibition. The original painting is 11" x 14" and is owned by Diane Joy Laird to commemorate her entre to exhibiting her work as a fine artist. The companion painting to Tranquil Dusk is Anticipating Spring, and is in the art collection of Kenneth R. Anderson of Clayton, Delaware. Limited edition prints and notecards are now available.
