Anticipating Spring was painted for the Winter Blues exhibit hosted by the Chestertown Art League (now Chester River Arts) in January 2011. It was the second of two paintings that were simultaneously created for the artist’s first gallery exhibition. The original painting is 11″ x 14″ and is owned by Kenneth R. Anderson of Clayton, Delaware. The companion painting to Anticipating Spring is Tranquil Dusk and is in the art collection of the artist.
