Anticipating Spring
Anticipating Spring was painted for the Winter Blues exhibit hosted by the Chestertown Art League (now Chester River Arts) in January 2011. It was the second of two paintings that were simultaneously created for the artist's first gallery exhibition. The original painting is 11" x 14" and is owned by Kenneth R. Anderson of Clayton, Delaware. The companion painting to Anticipating Spring is Tranquil Dusk and is in the art collection of the artist.

Crape Myrtles (Inn at Huntingfield Creek)
This painting, entitled Crape Myrtles, was completed for Jim and Joann Rich, owners of The Huntingfield Creek Inn -a lovely bed and breakfast just outside of the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is part of the Northeast Region U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The original painting is 8" x 10" and was developed in anticipation of the Vermont Bike Tours, a group that calls The Huntingfield Creek Inn "home" during their visit to the region each fall.

Durding’s on Main
Durding's on Main Street was painted on a hot and hazy summer afternoon in July of 2012, in preparation for the August First Friday exhibit at Hogan's Gallery in Chestertown, MD. Durding's is an original old-fashioned soda fountain (circa 1925) serving delectable soda fountain treats and homemade baked goods. Inside you will find an authentic wooden phone booth, an RX counter, and penny candy.

Harbor Shack
This painting of Harbor Shack illustrates a very typical summer afternoon at the scenic Rock Hall harbor. It was completed in December of 2012. The original painting is 12" x 16", is owned by the restaurant, and is exhibited in the Main dining area at this waterside restaurant. The image can also be found on the restaurant's menu and website: www.harborshack.net Visit the restaurant for excellent entrees and sandwiched and a casual dining experience amidst a beautiful waterfront setting.

Rock Hall Hair Net & Little Free Library
This painting of Rock Hall Hair Net and Little Free Library was completed in July 2012. This downtown Hair and Nail Salon is the choice salon of the artist and the Little Free Library is a tiny structure on a post and can be seen just to the left of the storefront. Sunflowers (Inn at Huntingfield Creek)
This painting, entitled Sunflowers, was completed for Jim and Joann Rich, owners of The Huntingfield Creek Inn -a lovely bed and breakfast just outside of the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is part of the Northeast Region U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The original painting is 8" x 10" and Highlights the breathtaking sunflowers that adorn the Inn's side lawn every summer. The grounds of the Inn feature 6' zinnias, a large lavender garden, and access to the lovely Chesapeake Bay.

Tranquil Dusk
Tranquil Dusk was painted for the Winter Blues exhibit hosted by the Chestertown Art League (now Chester River Arts) in January 2011. This painting has special significance to the artist as it was the first of two paintings that were simultaneously created for her first gallery exhibition. The original painting is 11" x 14" and is owned by Diane Joy Laird to commemorate her entre to exhibiting her work as a fine artist.
