Anticipating Spring
Anticipating Spring was painted for the Winter Blues exhibit hosted by the Chestertown Art League (now Chester River Arts) in January 2011. It was the second of two paintings that were simultaneously created for the artist's first gallery exhibition. The original painting is 11" x 14" and is owned by Kenneth R. Anderson of Clayton, Delaware. The companion painting to Anticipating Spring is Tranquil Dusk and is in the art collection of the artist.

Crape Myrtles (Inn at Huntingfield Creek)
This painting, entitled Crape Myrtles, was completed for Jim and Joann Rich, owners of The Huntingfield Creek Inn -a lovely bed and breakfast just outside of the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is part of the Northeast Region U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The original painting is 8" x 10" and was developed in anticipation of the Vermont Bike Tours, a group that calls The Huntingfield Creek Inn "home" during their visit to the region each fall.

Durding’s on Main
Durding's on Main Street was painted on a hot and hazy summer afternoon in July of 2012, in preparation for the August First Friday exhibit at Hogan's Gallery in Chestertown, MD. Durding's is an original old-fashioned soda fountain (circa 1925) serving delectable soda fountain treats and homemade baked goods. Inside you will find an authentic wooden phone booth, an RX counter, and penny candy.
