Tranquil Dusk
Tranquil Dusk was painted for the Winter Blues exhibit hosted by the Chestertown Art League (now Chester River Arts) in January 2011. This painting has special significance to the artist as it was the first of two paintings that were simultaneously created for her first gallery exhibition. Crape Myrtles (Inn at Huntingfield Creek)
This painting, entitled Crape Myrtles, was completed for Jim and Joann Rich, owners of The Huntingfield Creek Inn -a lovely bed and breakfast just outside of the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is part of the Northeast Region U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The original painting is 8" x 10" and was developed in anticipation of the Vermont Bike Tours, a group that calls The Huntingfield Creek Inn "home" during their visit to the region each fall.
