“The Kranshi”

This painting of the “Kranshi” (the Town Hall) was a second commissioned piece (11” x 14”) painted for gentleman who lived there prior to the residence becoming the Kranshi. Painting in the shade of only the rental car hatchback near the Lake by Punda, I kept hearing squealing wheels taking the curve on the road in front of me.

The changing nature of plein air painting sometimes results in obstruction of the subject…as it did with this school bus! Happily it was only for 15 minutes…enough time for a stretch and a bathroom break at the library across the street!
