Peaceful Morning (Chestertown, MD)
This painting from a deep porch amidst heavy downpours on the Sunday morning two-hour Quick Draw proved to be a worthwhile undertaking. Not only did the vibrant pink and white azaleas against the black and brick architectural features inspire me, but the painting won the "People's Choice" award. April 2016. The Gallery on Cannon Street
The Gallery on Cannon Street in downtown Chestertown is the location of Diane's first professional exhibition of two watercolor paintings in 2011. Tranquil Dusk and Anticipating Spring were the two pieces shown while the gallery was owned by the Chestertown Arts League (CAL), now known as River Arts.
